Colorado
River Guides offers rafting near Vail – we’re only 35 miles
away, meeting at State Bridge Landing on the Colorado River.
Drive
to State Bridge Landing – we haul the horses to you for a
memorable ride up old stagecoach trails, following the Piney
River. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the Colorado River, then join
us for our afternoon raft trip, ending at State Bridge Landing.
Colorado
River Rafting from Vail:
Take
I-70 West to the Wolcott – Steamboat Springs exit (Exit 157).
Follow signs to Highway 131 North.
**In
detail: turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left
at “T” intersection, go less than ¼ mile & turn right onto
Hwy 131.** Stay on Hwy 131 north for 13.5 miles. You’ll be
coming down a steep hill with the Colorado River at the bottom
of that hill – turn right into our parking lot BEFORE you
cross the bridge.
Allow
about 45 minutes to drive from Vail.
Eagle
River Rafting from Vail:
Take I-70 West about 30 miles to the Eagle exit (Exit 147).
Follow signs to the rest area. **In detail: turn left at top
of exit ramp. The next stoplight is on Chambers Ave, turn
right. Less than ¼ mile on the left you’ll see the Rest Area,
Visitor’s Info & Museum. ** We meet in the parking lot.
Allow
about 30 minutes to drive from Vail.
